Ice Prince QUITS Chocolate City: What Happened To 'I'll Never Leave Chocolate City Except In Death?'

Back in 2015 there were rumours that Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince Zamani is planning on leaving Chocolate City for his own label known as the Super Cool Cats, but the rapper through his manager Tobi Sanni Daniel denied the rumours, stating that except in death, he will never leave Chocolate City, (read here if you missed it)

Well, somebody lied!!!
Fast forward to yesterday, the 'That could be us' crooner revealed on Midday Oasis with Dotun and Temi on 96.9 Cool FM that he's no longer a part of the label that brought him fame and fortune.

He said his contract with the label expired two years ago and due to his personal relationship with the label owners, decided not to make it public. He however stated that he still has some working relationship with them.

A little investigation revealed that the rapper has in the past two years removed the every public link between him and Chocolate City, wiping their signage off his social media handles, and also off his press releases.

The rapper is third act to announce departure from Chocolate City in the past 6 months, after the earlier departure of Kahli Abdu & VHS Safari, and rapper Milli.

According to Pulse sources, he already has artistes signed to him, and will officially unveil them next week.

Ice Prince is set to release his third studio album titled "Jos to the world" which follows "Everybody loves Ice Prince"(2011) and "Fire of Zamani" (2013).
